A delicate olive that taste of the Italian Mediterranean. Taggiasco Olives are small, plump, reddish violet olives with a fruity and slightly nutty flavour and firm texture. They are named after the village where they originate in Liguria, Italy and are cured in a natural sea salt brine for up to 5 months. They are perfect for pan-fried fresh fish with tomatoes and olives or scattered over a sliced orange and red onion salad. Serve them as part of antipasti, press them into focaccia before baking, or toss them into pasta or couscous.
